Peterborough Physiotherapy Clinic

Showler Physiotherapy is an award winning Peterborough Physiotherapy clinic with specialists to get you back to what you love

Showler Physiotherapy was founded in 1999 and now has three clinics. Our Peterborough Physiotherapy clinic is the highest rated physiotherapy clinic in the city. Here we offer a selection of specialist physio services including treatment for back pain, shoulder pain as well as sports injuries. You can book an appointment online or contact us for further information.

Our treatment approach is largely hands on but will include exercise based rehabilitation where appropriate. This allows us to provide short- term pain relief but achieve unbeatable long-term results. Treatment will get to the root of your problem rather than just treating the symptoms.

Our Peterborough Physiotherapists are all members of the Health Care Professionals Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy making us experts in our field. We work with the general population as well as amateur and professional athletes who trust us with their health. We also work with the local community including businesses and sports clubs who refer clients to us for our expert treatment.

At our clinic we have access to world class rehabilitation facilities for clients wanting to return to sport at Bannatyne Health Club. We can also do home visits in Peterborough for clients unable to travel.

I went along to see Jake (Showler Physiotherapy) as a recommendation from my son.

I was suffering with Bursitis (a painful knee issue). After just a few sessions with Jake and his guidance on what to do between sessions, my knee improved and returned to it's previous 'normal' state in good time.

I would gladly recommend him to anyone who is need of a good Physiotherapist.

Fantastic treatment from Jake in Peterborough. Had knee and sciatic pain treated and cured in just 3 sessions. Fantastic value and no unnecessary further treatment. Very professional and will definitely use again if needed in the future.

Why should I see a private Physiotherapist?

There are many benefits of private physiotherapy treatment in Peterborough. You are able to book an appointment online within a few days with no waiting lists and no referral required from your GP. At Showler Physiotherapy your appointment will be with a specialist clinician with over five years experience. You are then able to have follow-up appointments as frequently or infrequently as you wish without any waiting lists. You will also be given an individualised home exercise programme to continue your recovery at home.

What to wear to your Physiotherapy appointment?

You should wear comfterble clothing that you can move in during assessment. You can get changed at the clinic if coming straight from work.

Do I need a referral to book a physiotherapy appointment?

No. You can book an appointment now or contact us without any referral necessary.

Can a Physiotherapist treat back or neck pain?

Yes. Physiotherapy is the first line of treatment for musculoskeletal conditions including back and neck pain. Our treatment is evidence based to ensure you get the fastest recovery possible. Treatment will involve hands on treatment to reduce pain, increase movement and get you back to full fitness as quickly as possible. We will also advise preventative strategies to prevent your pain from returning in the future.

Can a Physiotherapist treat arthritis?

At our Peterborough physiotherapy clinic we treat many clients with arthritis. Physiotherapy can help reduce joint stiffness and increase muscle strength to improve walking and overall function.
